A 3.ª edição do Launch in Lisbon vai acontecer entre os dias 20 e 22 de junho. Depois de uma edição teste (em Novembro do ano passado) e da segunda edição, mais recentemente em Fevereiro, comprovámos que o programa faz sentido para dar resposta às muitas solicitações que recebemos de empreendedores estrangeiros que estão à procura de informação sobre como estabelecer as suas vidas e negócios na vibrante capital portuguesa. As inscrições estão abertas apenas até dia 15 de junho!

The Globe and Mail vence Prémio Startup Lisboa para Investigação do Ano nos Data Journalism Awards


O projeto "Easy Money" da organização noticiosa canadiana The Globe and Mail foi o grande vencedor do prémio de "Investigação do Ano", atribuido pela Startup Lisboa, no âmbito dos Data Journalism Awards. Este prémio visa distinguir a "melhor investigação baseada em dados, que utiliza a recolha e análise de dados para divulgar ou esclarecer um tópico de interesse público".

O nosso CEO Miguel Fontes foi speaker no Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association(HEDNA) Global Distribution Conference, subordinado ao tema “A Conversation with Tomorrow’s Guest”. A HEDNA é uma associação comercial global de organizações do setor hoteleiro. Levámos as nossas startups incubadas Homeit, Climber Hotel e Secret City Trails para juntarem-se ao Miguel Fontes no palco e apresentar os seus produtos junto de potenciais clientes e parceiros.

Last call to Launch In Lisbon

The 3rd edition of Launch in Lisbon will take place between June 20 and 22. After a test edition (last November) and the second edition, most recently in February, we have proven that the program makes sense to respond to the many requests we receive from foreign entrepreneurs looking for information on how to establish their lives and businesses in the vibrant Portuguese capital. Registration is open until June 15th!

 

The Globe an Mail wins the Prize Startup Lisboa for "Investigation of the Year" at the Data Journalism Awards


The "Easy Money" article of the Canadian news organization The Globe and Mail was the winner of the "Investigation of the Year" prize, awarded by Startup Lisboa in the Data Journalism Awards. This award aims to distinguish "best data-based research, which uses the collection and analysis of data to disseminate or clarify a topic of public interest".

 

Pitch Slam today at 7 pm

Our pitch event, a moment of storytelling and networking, returns today to the Pestana CR7 Hotel.
The format is the same as we had previously, but with a new schedule: Pitch Slam will from now on begin at 7 pm.

 

Startup Lisboa at Hedna

Our CEO Miguel Fontes was a speaker at the Electronic Distribution Network Association(HEDNA) Global Distribution Conference, "A Conversation with Tomorrow's Guest". HEDNA is a global trade association of organizations from the hotel sector. We took our incubated startups Homeit, Climber Hotel and Secret City Trails to join him on stage and present their products, reaching potential customers and partners.
