The Clean Future Acceleration Program is looking for startups that are developing technological solutions to promote sustainability in construction, mobility and retail.
The world is facing an unprecedented climate crisis. Fortunately, many companies have embraced the challenge of making the economy and society more sustainable.
CleanTech startups lead this movement, offering solutions that tackle the climate crisis, with a clear mission: to make the economy and society more sustainable, efficient and clean through technology.
These startups act on 3 fundamental pillars:
Improving the performance of productive processes
Mitigating adverse environmental impact
Using natural resources efficiently and responsibly
An acceleration program to leverage CleanTech solutions that can drive a sustainable future!
What is it about?
An acceleration program, promoted by Unicorn Factory Lisboa and Startup Lisboa, which aims to support the creation and development of technological solutions to improve the sustainability of cities. The initiative is part of the Hub Criativo do Beato Living Lab, a living lab that aims to boost the sustainability of the Hub Criativo do Beato and transform it into a smart campus, co-funded by EEA Grants Portugal.
What are the sectors that are part of the program?
The program focuses on 3 sectors - Construction, Mobility and Retail - to create replicable solutions for the cities of the future.
Who can apply to the program?
Startups worldwide, less than five years old, with a technological solution that brings innovation and sustainability to the 3 following sectors - construction, mobility and retail.
Who are the partners?
Clean Future has the support of Deloitte as the Knowledge Partner, CTT as the Strategic Partner, Mota-Engil, EMEL and GS1 Portugal as the category partners focused on the construction sector, mobility, and retail sectors, respectively.

What are the timings?
The program lasts for 10 weeks.
Applications were closed in April and were followed by a jury session to select the startups between the 3rd and 5th of May. The initial bootcamp will run on the 12th and 13th of May and the acceleration program will run between May and July 2023.
