Innovation Summer School: the innovation summer program for young people!

Applications open today for Innovation Summer School, the innovation initiative from Unicorn Factory Lisboa and Startup Lisboa for the young generation. Innovation Summer School is a summer program for high school students who want to learn more about how to be entrepreneurs. The program, which takes place during the school holidays from July 17 to 28, allows young people to develop their knowledge and skills in innovation, creativity and teamwork in a relaxed environment.

This innovation summer program, developed in partnership with the American company Co-Created, which brings to Portugal the expertise of its summer program already designed in New York, will help young people create real impact through innovation and, simultaneously, develop critical skills for their future success.

For two weeks, pupils from all over the country and from any school or type of education will learn first-hand how to start the innovation process and will come together in teams to identify ideas and develop business models to present at the end of the program, consisting of a product or service that solves a real-world problem or a current challenge for a company.

The Innovation Summer School program is for teens aged 15 to 18 who want to learn how to create their businesses and be change-makers. Besides filling free time with practical and didactic solutions for the summer holidays, we want to help participants develop critical thinking, innovation and teamwork skills to replicate in the real world.
