Heptasense - Artificial Intelligence
Nowadays video surveillance consists on a person looking at multiple screens for hours, losing 95% of the incidents after 20min. Heptasense is an artificial intelligence software for security cameras, that is able to recognize human behaviors. When a threat is detected, an alert is sent to the operational teams. Heptasense is being used in retails, factories and highways to improve security and safety.
You're passionate about AI and you're knowledgeable in machine learning and computer vision, focused on deep learning;
You have some experience and deploying models for production;
You're familiar with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, scipy, and deep learning frameworks including TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe, Dlib or PyTorch;
You are able to search, identify and understand relevant papers, as well as to analyze if and how a prototype can be built based on them;
You're comfortable with version control systems like Git;
You're an avid learner, problem-solving and curious;
You're an excellent team player, and you're able to communicate your mental process and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You've got a degree where you got to work in Statistics, Machine Learning, Software or Computer Vision. PhD, or PhD-level experience, is valued, but if you wish we'll never call you Dr;
You've worked with, or at least heard of, computer vision frameworks like OpenCV;
You're no stranger to Docker containers, and other virtualization stuff;
You're used to dealing with big(ish) amounts of data (crawling, scraping, cleaning, processing, etc.). Hadoop comes to mind.
You've published some of your work in related Journals, presented it in international conferences.
